Studio Paintings
Most studio paintings are larger than those done onsite, and are painted on stretched canvas. I find it impractical to carry large canvases outside, plus conditions onsite are too fleeting to paint very large. My studio paintings are developed from onsite paintings, drawings and photographs. Here in the studio is where I can experiment and use more imagination, anticipation, memory or other inspired fantasy. They may take a day or a week or more to complete. Price range: $500 to $3,000 and may be purchased framed or unframed.
