here is nothing more enjoyable than sitting within a scene, observing and absorbing intensely...and painting. I like to share my delight in being there, in experiencing nature's gift of the landscape, the weather, wind, light, even movement and sound.

Madawaska Valley Studio Tour
Date: Saturday and Sunday October 2-3, 10 am - 6 pm
Location: 341 Wittke Road, Eganville
Details: 19th annual juried open doors studio tour, this year partnering with the Arts and Culture weekend of the Ottawa Valley Rural Ramble. Original plien air landscapes, studio canvases and limited edition giclee prints. Plus two guests, acrylic artist Mark Kulas and glass artisan Ann Merla.

The Canadian Arctic and the American Southwest, Landscapes Eroded through Time

Details: The Gallery holds 3 or 4 artists: My part will explore the relationships between the High Arctic and the Desert Southwest of North America. Both are bare, dry and exposed areas, baring the truth of ages, fascinating and devoid of adornment.
